Question for Super Smash Bros. Melee

How do I get the old yoshi level?, i've heard I have to get a high score in home run contest butive tried every charater and I have no were near what I need to get, personnaly I think it's a load of trash what there saying, I WANT THE TRUTH and I want it asap? But if it is home run contest how the hell am I supposed to get it that far?!?!?!

Go to home run contest and choose yoshi. Grab the home run bat and jump obove the sandbag. While over it do the flutter attack (down a) about 4-5 times ( I can do it 5 times because I'm good with yoshi) and hit the home run bat. I believe you have to get 1560 as you're score.

It's kinda tricky...
You know Yoshi's Fludder Attack - when you jump and hit down+A and he 'fludders' his feet...
Well - you gotta do that to the Sandbag with Yoshi as many times as you can before the time runs out to raise it's percentage...
Then NAIL it with the bat!!!
The distance to beat is 1,323 ft - good luck =D

I donno if there is a old yoshi level, if you want to get a high score on the home-run contest pick yoshi and theres a bat use it on the bag.(i think you have to press ( -->, A) to hit hard with the bat

Use Yoshi,jump in the air and do down A on the home run bag,and then pick up the home run bat and and hold down A and hold the D pad in the direction of the home run bag,and then hit it.

You have to grab the bat behind yoshi and kick sand bag to the edge and jump up and hit sand bag 1600 meters then you get the old yoshi level!!!!

Good God! All you have to do is get 1000 or more feet in Homerun Contest! And you don't have to use yoshi. I used Roy and wailed the bag into the sky 4 times and when it was falling from the 4th whak I charged up the (nutural) B move till the last 6 seconds ran out and they released the power automaticly. It flew 1084 feet, It told me I unlocked the N64 Yosi's Island. Sorry If I sounded angry but this was a long thing.
