He's quite hard, I know; you have to a pretty good player to beat him - keep practicing!!!

Just do down A with Link and it will do like 17% of damage each time but you have to me in the air,then do down A.

He is very hard, just practice over and over again and eventually you'll defeat him.

I used the down A move and when Shadow link came close, I did the spin attack. While he was in the air, I did a spin attack again, then a dash attack. If Shadow link hit me, I ran and waited for him to return, with a bomb.
I threw it and got another then did a dash attack. Don't be affraid to block or use 'the mind game' as I call it. That's when you press the R or L button and directional button at the same time and move around your opponent quickly.
If you get shadow Link off of the arena, but not completly KO'd, try to jump and hit him so he can't recover, or throw a bomb or the boomerang.Then use the spin attack to get back on stage
It's sort of hard, but if you defeat Shadow Link, just think, There are even more battles harder than that.

He is hard, but if you train with your best character, you will be able to destroy him. It took a while for me to do it. I used pikachu, and destroyed him by using a few weak attacks to weaken him, then using thunder(b + down), then he immedietly fell off the arena.

He is very easy (for I am best with link) jump in the air and do down a, and use up b (on the ground). After a while he will die. Dodge his attacks as much as possible, and you shouldnt lose a life
