You could use Yoshi's downward kick or maybe Fox's blaster to damage it heavily, then use the bat for a Home Run Smash Attack.

It's kinda tricky...
You know Yoshi's Fludder Attack - when you jump and hit down+A and he 'fludders' his feet...
Well - you gotta do that to the Sandbag with Yoshi as many times as you can before the time runs out to raise it's percentage...
Then NAIL it with the bat!!!
The distance to beat is 1,323 ft - good luck =D

I used Ness and his PK fire about ten times....and got 1,393 ft.

Use Yoshi and jump in the air and do Down A so he will kick that bag like 10 times to put that damge up,then use to home run bat and hold the A button and the D pad,and twords the home run bag and hit it,and it should go very far.

Yoshi is the only one that I know that can do it. Jump and use the flutter attack like 5 times and then hit him with the bat. I got 1564 with that.

I'd use Roy, he has the attack were it explodes. Hold B to use it.

I know a really good technique for hitting it real far, first use Fox as a character, hit the bag with the bat ONCE so it should be near the edge, next repeatedly press the B button to use the laser gun, lastly when you think it's enough damage or the time is running out HIT IT HARD! =P

First: you have to pick yoshi. Then you pick up the bat behind him kick sand bag to the edge and hit it with the bat he can smash it over 1600 feet!
