Question for Super Smash Bros. Melee

Hi I have cleared event matches 1-30 how can I get it to go up to at least forty I have cleared everything up to thirty?

In order to get to the other events, you must first unlock all characters.

You probably need to unlock a certain character or arena before you can do the next Event Match(es)...

Unlock all the characters. Completing all the events will help thoguh because you still need to have cleared at least 25 (an overlooked source).
