It is similar, but SSBM has more levels, characters, and moves. Link has a down-A move while in the air that I don't remember seeing on SSB. Fox has a side-B move I swear was never there in the N64 version. However, it's the same basic principles--throw the other guy off the level, beat the boss, etc.

No, this one is a lot better thasn the Nintendo 64 version. It's also a lot different. If you want to buy one I advise you buy this one.
