Question for Super Smash Bros. Melee

I know this is sad, but I can't beat the captain falcon race, the luigi verses dr.mario and peach, the young link vs. Link and the Jigglypuff verses the other Jigglypuffs events. Can you give me some pointers on how to beat them. Thank you.


PS- What is all star mode?

Don't worry, very few people can do these things on first try. I couldn't do the Captain Falcon race one for ages. Anyway:

Captain Falcon race thing: as soon as you begin sprint. When the cars come jump on a platform, jump foreward and do all his jumps and you should and just after the last one has past. Then repeat. Works well for me.

Time for a Checkup (Luigi): practice this one. Try and kill one, and then go for the other. Both at once is not such a good tactic.

Seven Years (Y. Link): I usually hit Link with my Boomerang, Bomb or Arrows and then when he's recovering go crazy on him. Just practice.

The Jigglypuff one: easy. Use his/hers/its down and B move. Perfect timing means instant K.O.s. It's not always easy to pull off though.

Good luck.
Practice = perfect.

P.S. All-Star mode is where you fight all the characters in separate matches with only one life and three heart containers to regain your strength. It's rather easy if you ask me.
