Question for Super Smash Bros. Melee
Once when I went to my friend's house and when we were playing ssbm, I saw that he had mew.
I asked him how he got him but he will not tell me.
So, how do I unlock mew?
P.S. I SWEAR TO GOD THAT WHAT I SAW WAS NOT MEWTWO!!!!

Ah yes did you know that people can simply unlock characters like that by using a cheating device such as an AR? Well that is probably what your friend is doing.

You can't unlock Mew unless you have a action replay or a gameshark but I still don't believe you can get him with those

If you have a gameshark for nintendo gamecube you can use him and other special character,for example-MASTERHAND,GIGABOWSER.NOTE-Who ever tell's you that you that Mew can be aquired without gameshark,is a BAD LIAR.

You can not get Mew. He might have just glitched up a characters slot or made a new one with Mew's face. Anyway, if Mew was played, the secret was foiled, since it would not have any attacks unless copied from someone else.

There are no characters that appear with the gameshark that cannot be seen in the game (wireframes, the hands, giga bowser, and sandbag). The pokeball Pokemon Mew has no moves. It simply flies to the top of the screen. You were either confused by seeing a freeze frame of Mew in the game, or you have just written a bogus question.

Like the others said you'd need the AR, but without cheating you can get a Mew trophy by beating all-star mode on hard or very hard without a continue
