Question for Star Fox Adventures

I actullly got two questions:

1. In Cape Claw how do you get the big rock open, (the one on the beach to get to the high top dinosaur.)

2. How can I pick up the fuel cell barrier in the cloudrunner fortress.(the one behind the 5 soul life force door in the big misty area.

#1 I don't know about the rock, but you can go underneath the deck he's caged in. To the right you'll find the rocket boost pad.

#2 All you have to do is, go to your (C button) control inventory, then go to the staff upgrades, then go to the sharpclaw picture and press A.

This will change you into your sharpclaw suit.

Now you can pick up the barrier.
