It's hard - it took me a few tries to do it too - most of it's pretty basic and easy - but you have to be ready for certain "scary" things to happen - then you just have to push the joystick full tilt toward the other side in which the bar is moving to put the bar back in the middle.

Just so you won't be distracted, if I were you, I would turn the volume on the tv all the way down so that you can focus and won't be so distracted

Ya. It really does help if you turn the volume on mute! After I did that, I beat it in 1 try!
