How do tou breed chao?

The mating season come naturally after their first birthday. Flowers will appear around them. Just get another chao, put them up facing each other and they will start kissing, then cheering and then they jump backwards and an egg will appear where they were kissing. To make mating season come a little early, get heart fruit and give it to one of your chao and they will be ready to mate after they eat the heart fruit.

To breed chao, you have to have 2 chao that have evolved at least once. It cannot be a child. Then give one of the chao a heart fruit (buy at the black market) After it eats it, a circle of flowers should grow around your chao, and it will have a heart over it's head. Pick up your other chao and put it as close to the first chao as you can. Then, after a few seconds, they should so a little dance, and some special music will play. Then an egg will form. Sometimes the second choa will not mate with the first one. In this case, buy another heart fruit and give it to the second chao. Then they will both be ready to mate.


To grow a tree, you have to have unlocked the shovel via one of the beginner chao races. It usually only works for me if I give the seed to the chao that won the shovel. And to make the tree grow faster, you should win the watering can, from another series in the beginner races.

To tell you the truth they don't bury seeds unless you got the shovel in the Chao races and you also need a pretty grown-up Chao to bury the seed.

Breeding Chaos is simple, go to the Black Market in the Chao Kindergarden lobby, find a heart shaped fruit, buy 2 ( which will cost you 600 rings ) and feed them to the Chao you want to breed. I don't know if this is for every chao but it only works for me after the transform.

If you breed a choas choa and a dark chao you mihgt get a clear water choa(it mihgt be a evil choa)then if you plug in a cheat code and select choa garden and breed over and over and your garden will have bunches of clear choa!

I find the best thing to do is to give one a heart fruit, then let the other one run around. After a while, it'll come to the breeding Chao by itself. I've never had any luck trying to get them to breed by putting them beside each other.

Go to the black market in the chao kindergerden.Buy 2 heart fruits (300 rings each)feed them to 2 chao the same age and when they are ready to mate they have flowers around them.

Kindergarten Lobby - Black Market - Heart Fruit - The World Your Chao Is In - Give it to chao - Flowers surround - Put another chao face to face to the one that is in the flowers - they mate (50% Chance) - if it doesnt work it fails - if it works you got your egg!

My chao uses the watering can after the shovel and then dances around. Once you have the watering can and shovel give your chao the seed, it will wander about until a "!" sign appears above the chao's head then it will plant it, it only happens when a chao finds the perfect place to plant the seed.
P.S. To get the watering-can/shovel you need to win some of the begginer chao race.
