Where can I get the thing that makes it so shadow can break open steel boxes?

It's in Radical Highway.

First, go to the road justbefore the first missile. When you get there, go back towards the other end of the road. You will see a rollie thing that you have to Somersault under.

Somersault. There will be a little stretch of road. Go to the edge and you'll see a path of rings. Light Dash across the rings and you'll be sent onto a spring.

At the top of the spring os another stretch of road and there will be the Flame Ring which allows Shadow to do the Flaming Somersault.

If you don't have the Light Shoes, then go right in front of the rollie thing. Charge up a Spin Dash. Then use the Spin Dash until JUST before you roll off the edge. Jump.

If you did it right, Shadow will go flying across the gap and he will land either right in front or on the spring.
