Is there any way to get a starter Pokemon in the game?

I want to find a way to get a starter Pokemon does anyone know how to get one?

The easiest way to get one of the starters would be to use an Action Replay Max and alter one of your exsisting Pokemon into another Pokemon all together with a one of the many cheat codes, you can get any Pokemon you wnat this way. Unforgently the rare Action Replay Max is sold out but if you want all three of the Johto starters you have to beat Mt.battle three seperate times from the start to finish. Cyndaquil will have the move Blastburn, Totadile will have the move Hydro Cannon and Chikorita will have the move Frenzy Plant. Hope this helps you.
