Alright so I've got the skull gem in the eye hole of the skull rock and I've hit the blue statue at least 5 times but after I hit it the blue embers show up and I have to beat them and it says "can't flee this fight!" It's been doing that all night I've been trying for hours and I looked all over the Internet but no one else has had this problem. I've followed the instructions on what to do to the statues and I keep doing it and NOTHING IS HAPPENING!!! HELP!!!

This hint is heard in the song Flávio sings (boom bassa boom festival) that you first do the spin jump on the red statue's head three times, then hit the blue statue four times with your hammer, and a hole will open above the skull rock. Throw Bobbery into that hole and let him explode, and an entrance will open.
