Go to his room. You will notice that he is not there. Now use Vivian's special ability using the y button (she hides you in the shadows). Stay like that for five seconds and he will pop out.

Correction! Go to YOUR room, number 5, and see another document on the floor. THEN you use Vivian and hide for a few seconds!
