I prefer to use a tier 1 car on drifting, not too fast and not too slow, good handling and great traction.

Inorder for you to get the hang if drifting, balance your speed and try to drift in the middle, don't try to drift in near the wall where the lines are, though it will have a great points in there, if you can't control your car will crash. Practise in the quick race first to see your skills, keep practising till you get the hang of it.

Hope that helps and good luck.

EspeonDude_ answered:

Get the perfect speed, then start sliding into the corner, if you are going to smash into a wall, hit the breaks ASAP, if you hit the wall soft enough, you MAY not break the drift. Make sure you can keep combo's going as well.

Carbon hero answered:

Use NOS at the start of the race and have a good speed bonus. In the closed races if you're going to hit the wall use NOS to torque.

Lambo84136 answered:

Use any modern muscle cars. They're fast for the straights and can lose control easily but don't handle as bad as old ones. Get as close to the barriers as possible without hitting them don't snake that'll cost speed and points, link up the corners with longer drifts, and if you get too close to the barriers lay off the power a bit before slamming it back on;)

Well if you are where you can purchase the Viper SRT 10, try it on a quick race drift with it maxed out plus tires on drift and engine and transmission set for acceleration you could get over a million points.

blastoise_king answered:

Get a muscle(best for drifting)and the tires tune them to drift. The nos tune that to acceleration. Then when you start use your nos until the speed bonus meter goes all the way up.(note:if youre using a tier 3 I reccomend dodge viper, and if it's tires are tuned to drift move the stick a little bit because if you don't youll lose control trust me)

Jenava answered:

Try using a muscle, they are better for drifting, even though they have horrible handling. It doesn't matter what tier they are, they all handle the same
