Why can't the ink controll you. They can controll the Apla Splinter and the Alpa Sandiger.

I'm not exactly sure - it's just the way that they made the game. The Ing tried to control Samus when they stole her weaponry, but failed thankfully!

Because you escape them the first time and when you get the Temple energy module, you are immune to ing possession as the module is made of pure Light.
