How do I beat Mama Sheegoth?

The Mother Sheegoth takes a lot of hits - to beat the Sheegoth, stay locked onto it and keep your distance, continue to shoot Power Beam shots (not charged up shots, they just get absorbed); eventually the Sheegoth will charge or breath ice at you - afterwards, it'll be out of breath - now shoot some Missiles!

P.S. It's hard to know if you're getting anywhere, but by shooting Missiles at the Sheegoth when it's gasping, trust me - you're doing damage!

To beat the sheegoth you have to wait for it to use it's ice attack after it will stop to breath thats when you shoot a missle on the neck

This is a fast and easy way(but you may lose a lot of health)
Go into a morphball and place a bunch of bombs under it.

There IS another way, but it requires an Action replay to do it.

Use the codes to obtain all weapons and three of the four combo attacks. You'll have all combos except the Wavebuster.

When Mama comes at you, switch to Plasma and use the Flamethrower. Make sure you have plenty of missiles, but it DOES work and only takes abut a minute.

Use a Power Bomb if you've got it. You'll encounter adult Sheegoths later in the game, one power bomb detonated right underneath it, works every time.

Use the power beam and shoot it repeatedly so it will charge up energy. After it has absorbed energy it will begin to either shoot out ice or breath ice breath. It will then begin to hyperventilate and then shoot it with missiles! It may take quite a few shots but it works!
