Question for Luigis Mansion

After you beat the first mansion, how do you get a rank A? Also when you are doing the mansion for a second time and go into the Astral Hall it's like you open the door to the same room twice and you hear a funny sound when you enter into the room, what does this mean?

1) If you beat the game with over 100,000,000 G of money, you'll be given an A Rank and Luigi's Mansion will be huge!

2) I'm guessing it just indicates that there's a puzzle to solve (lighting the candles), I'm not sure - I don't really remember the sound.

To get a rank A, you need over 100,000,000G.

The thing is the Astral Hall is the same as it was the first time. You need to light the fires and catch the ghosts to get into the Observatory.

Okay, I've been playing this game recently for fun, because it is a great game.
The noise you're hearing is the same noise you hear when a heart falls to the ground for the first time. As the others said, to get an a rank you got to get over a billion G. That means the total value of all the treasure you've collected has to equal over 999,999,999 G.
Again, the funny sound is the sound of when a heart falls to the floor and bounces. Either that, or you're talking about the thorns that attach themselves to the door so you can't escape. There is one other room I remember that I walked into a lot. Whenever I entered into it, it made a sound similar to a key dropping, or a gold coin, but nothing happened. My best guess? A glitch, nothing more. Have fun playing Luigi's Mansion.
