This Ones Easy, You Should Have A Sickle If Not Its In The Shed Next To The Barn, Equip The Sickle And Go Out To The Back And Start Slashing Away At The Grass(Grass=Fodder) The Grass Will Automatically Become Fodder. Get The Fodder From The Machine On The Left Side Of The Barn.

Hope I Helped!

ashleigh the gamer answered:

Get your sickle and go use it on the tall grass at the back of the barn.

XHarvestGoddessX answered:

To get more Fodder you have to get a Sickle which should be in your tool shed at the beginning of your game. Then, equip the Sickle and start cutting the grass in the pastue. It will be converted to Fodder and stored in your silo for future use.

Ok it seems that you guys have forgotten to tell him that you must first put ferilizer down on a square of grass for it to grow. It can get expensive but, once all the grass starts to grow you won't have to do I again.

kingumar64 answered:

You don't need to put ferilizer in harvest moon a wonderful life only in hw anotherwornder life

I suggest waiting for late fall or early winter (you can leave your animals out I leave mine out in the rain and they don't get sick, but thats because I do bring them in eventually) When it's late fall (or early winter) have the light sickle (buy early in the game for easier collecting during rainy times) You then spend a day or so cutting ALL the grass you should end up with about 500 or more even if you cut it all your cows will not starve if you put them out into the pasture. This helps if you wish to sell fodder to Van for some quick cash (about 1000G) or just keep it for your pregnant cows, your horse, sheep, and if your nutts, your goat.
