I know it is a stupid question but I need step by step instructions on how to cook. Because when I cook a meal it comes out bad and I follow the recipes

You are probably cooking under the wrong recipe if you are following the instructions you find in other peoples houses, so make sure if it's a recipe for soup your a cooking under the soup options the same goes with salad and all the other recipes, that might be your problem.
Well, for some recipes, you MUST find them in a person's house in order for it to work. An easy salad and an easy soup is:
Light Pickles - Category: Salad - Ingrediance: Turnip
Yam Soup - Category: Soup - Ingrediance: Sweet Potatoe
