Question for Harvest Moon: A wonderful life

Do your Ducks lay eggs?
How long does year 2 last?
How do you make butter?
I have salad, soup, dessert and that really long named one were you can make sashimi with can anyone give me all he recipes to the types of food I listed above?

Its Summer 8 year 2 where I am in the game and I've been giving Carter food everyday since Spring 7, how long until he gives me the dog?

I've also, been giving stuff to Ruby and Vesta how long till they give me there things too?
and last but not least...

Does your son grow up?
and...
DO any of your animals die?
and...
In the last year do you die? Does Romana die? Does Garen die?

Please answer some of my questions or all of them ASAP! Please.

1. Well one year lasts 40 days, if you mean chapter 2 I thougt three years.

2. You can make butter and cheese in the food processing room wich you can buy in the ledger.

3. You can make your own list by visiting all the houses and write down the ricipes. I don't know that all.

4. If you want the dog from Carter you must find all stone tablets in his dig site, yeah he did sayd something about giving him food but that's just because Flora can't cook so well.

5. You can get the Ruby spice from Ruby if you befriend her by giving her some food and other things she likes. I don't know if you can get something from Vesta so...

6. Yeah your son grows up.

7. Well if you don't feed them anymore (I tried it out) and if they're sick you must give them animal medecine or they will die.

8. I don't know i'm not that far jet.

Actually Great will give you an astray raccoon if you give her pretty oars and food
