Question for Harvest Moon: Another Wonderful Life

When I connect Harvest Moon:Friends of Mineral Town and Harvest Moon:Another Wonderful Life, It Just sits there, then tells me "No new information is needed", And I want van and the Seaside house...How do I get them?

It needs to be more friends of mineral town. And you should also post this in the gameboy section. Hope it helps!
