marlin's illness

i heard he had a illness and if i want him and not of gustafa i want to no i am guessing its cancer or something :P

If you get all the cutscenes for Marlin you'll get the full story. After watching all the cutscenes I think it depression, but the game never says.

his illness is in fact depression i know cause my sister told me and i have had all the cutscenes before so i know

He's had depression since he was 20 years old supposedly.
Another thing said he has cancer

I'm honestly not sure, but based on what the others have said, and the fact that I myself am married to Marlin (Lol I almost wrote Martin), I'm gonna go ahead and say depression. For these reasons:
He's not exactly a smily guy unless your giving him something or he's just really happy.
He says that winter and summer are not good to him, he probably gets sick at this time of year, and physical depression can lead tophysical illnesses.
Trust me, Marlin does not have cancer. If he did, i would probably know. So your safe. =]
