I have been playing for a while and I got marlin to love me (four hearts)but for some reason hwen I show him the feather he just asks "what is it?" and I is kinda making me mad omeone help please.

Well, if he has 4 hearts for you it should be about time for him to accept your proprosal. Just make sure to talk to him everyday and give him something he likes. I can't really think of any other reason as to why he wouldn't accept it yet. . . Well, just don't give up on him :]

I've tried to marry Marlin, and he usually says something about wanting to stay on his farm. At the end of the year he should come and propose to you. You just have to wait it out, and make sure you have four hearts.

I had the same problem hon. I either tried to give it to him with his hands in his pockets or I gave him milk and then tried to give him the feather. That's probably the problem. You may have given him a gift first. He won't accept two gifts.
