Mole bugs are found in rocks. So take a shovel our axe and start hitting rocks. If an animal randomly stares at a rock or tree then there is most likely something in it

It's in the ground. If you hear a chirping noise and it's coming from the ground, take a shovel and just keep digging until you find the bug.
