I think when you defeat Marik.

There is no end. Just like Pokemon, it will keep continue after you beat the boss (marik in this case). You can decide for yourself if it's finished, by (what I do) collect all cards in the game, unlock all booster packs, get 50.000 duel points, and beat all duelists 100 times (after the 99, you go to 00, and then 01 etc.
