Question for The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past

Hey Link596, it's Flood, listen. We have both killed the dark world level 4 boss, correct? Well, I got across the gap, (thanks) and found my uncle. Okay, he turns into the level 4 boss. I have everything now, thanks to the heart help.

I am full on health, magic, have all bottles filled with cure-all medcine, have 999 Rupies, 50 bombs, 70 arrows the Red Mail, Titan's Mitt, Flippers, Pegasus Shoes, Moon Pearl, level 4 sword upgrade, Mirror Shield and all other items.

I am fighting my "uncle" and doing everything. After I hit him two times with my sword, his head comes off and makes his body invincible. Now what do I do?????!!!!!!!!!

To kill him you have to hit his head back into him and then sword him. Repeat this until he is dead. I have known it to happen that game will glitch and the heads will disapear comepletely, making it impossible to kill him. The best thing to do then is either save and quit or use the magic mirror to return to the entrance to the dungeon.
