Question for Sonic Advance

I've got more than 1 question. Here we go:

1.Can anyone give me a tip for the Special Stages
2. How can you get your Chao to Fly Swim etc.?

Well when you are going through then orange flashing things push load of button and sometimes you get lots of rings.

I think to get it to fly and swim by connecting it to a gamecube or something.

A) When you see a big orange circle-like thing, hold down A to speed up, and when you hit it, tap B. It takes timing

2)The chao does it at random when it's stats get up high enough.

For the first Question
I'm still having problems with.

For the second Question
You must have a gba platform link cable, gamecube and sonic adventure 2 : battle
Trade your chao to the gamecube then it will jump into the pond in the chao garden
And it will swim or barely keep it's self a float and if it's fly level is high enough it will fly around.

Ps. My swim level was at least Lv.6 and my fly level was at least Lv.10
