You have to beat Poke'mon League.

You ride the fairy by beating the Elite four once and your dad will give you a ticket to ride it.
Win the pokemon league. Talk to your dad.He should give you a ticket. Fly to Lilycove or Slateport. Talk to the lady in the shipyard.YOU NEED THE TICKET YOU GOT FROM YOUR DAD!
To actually walk in the ship,choose to go to Lilycove or Slateport.WHEN YOU GET ON THE SHIP YOU CAN VISIT MR.BRINEY AND SWEET LITTLE PEEKO!!!!!!!!!!
Your cabin is cabin number2.You can battle the other trainers aboard the ship only ONCE no matter how many cruises you go on.You only battle those trainers ONCE in the whole game.HAVE FUN!!
p.s.There will be 1 double battle in cabin number one.
