To use Waterfall, you must have obtained the Rain Badge from the gym in Sootopolis City. A Pokemon in your party must have learned the move. After that, Surf up to the tile directly in front of the waterfall. Press A on the waterfall or use the move from your party menu, and you should go up the waterfall.

Guest answered:

You must have the rain badge from sootopolis gym teach it to a pokemon and press a on a waterfall

Shock95 answered:

Teach your water type Pokemon waterfall then go next to the waterfall and Press "a" then you will surf up the waterfall.

Guest answered:

I have the badge and I can't use it. Nothing pops up if I press A and if I use it from the party, it says "you can't use that here"
