Well, first, beat Rayquaza. When you beat Rayquaza, you can evolve your Pok�mon. Evolve them and then return to the place where the boss can be found, such as Mt. Thunder for Zapdos, etc. Battle the boss Pok�mon and beat it. When you beat it, it may join your rescue team if you have room. To get the best benefit, have it hold the Friend Bow and also have your leading Pok�mon at a higher level, which raises it's Recruitment Rate.

You need to fight every boss first before you can recruit any of them. Once you have fought them once go back to where you fought them adn do it again until they join your team. It helps to have a lucario rank and to have a friend bow on level 30 of mt. Faraway
