Question for Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team

I can't seem to get to the latios part of the game. I've gone completely through the buried relic dungeon, but I still can't seem to get to the Latios plot of the game. Do I have to catch Mew or something? Cuz' I haven't caught Mew yet. What on earth am I suppose to do to get to that part?

You need to clear Solar Cave first, then wake up the next morning to watch more story. I had the same problem, but I solved it.

You're missing a whole part. Go to Wigglytuff and buy the Friend Area Southern Island. Once you do that Latios will fly by the next day. Hop I helped.

To get to Latios you need to buy his friend area wich Southern Island, or something like that. Then I think a couple of days pass away then you wake up go outside then somthing will pass you at high speed. Then you can go to Northern Field.

Laitos and Latias are free after you buy Southern Island get Surf and pass Stormy Sea and get Kiogre. After this Northen Range is open go there defeat Latios the Pitfall Valley is open now go there rescue Latias and after this they will join to your team.
