1.40 I think then theres the magma pit about 3 or 5 floors down again then Groudon will be at the very bottom.

2.After beating the game, go back to the whiscash pond ALONE and a hole will be open. There you will find the Luminous Cave, where you can evolve.

#1: Magma Cavern has 23 or 24 floors then 1 more floor where you have to fight. Then a floor where you see both tyranitar and charizard (both were on my game) and they say be careful. Then you see the leader (alakazam on my game) they disappear and you have to fight Groudon.

#2: After groudon you can go to sky tower and you have to go up some number of floors and battle Rayquaza, then you can evolve after that I think.
