How to find mew in relic
I've gone a bunch of times like 8 and never even saw Mew yes I did have a music box. What's up with that man
Comment:(Aug 13 2009) people say if he/she dosent appear when u get on the floor or in a monster house he aint in that floor

Usually, when you are on the same floor as Mew, he changes into a pokemon. You can also check on the options menu to see if he's on the same floor. On the recruitment menu. If Mew isn't on that list, he's not on that floor.

Well you see, you need to be patient and go through slowly, but not to slow. I went through and made the entire map visible and then went to the stairs. Thats how I got him. Hope I helped!

Mew is very rare and will usually transform into other Pokemon that're on the floor.
He also has a very low chance of joining.

You have to keep the music box in your bag without using it or dying. Then when your walking Mew will pop out of no where. Mew usually appears on the floors

You Need to get the Music Box after yo defeat the Three Legendary Rocks Then you can have it.After you recieve The Music box in 35 floor.Mew appears only in 36-99 floors.Note!you need the Music box because mew will chase you if you have it.Mew ha !160 Hp or life points you need to 1 hit him or kill him in 1 move only do not use ordinary attack.Also you need a high lvl pokemon to kill him or a FLY attack move can 1 hit mew.Thats All

I have encountered Mew 2 times in floor 48 and 49 (1 each) and I 1 hitted him with my heat wave +6 then he died with out joining zzz....
Is it because I'm on a rescue mission and I have a client beside me and is needed to be escort? And another rescue mission?

Ok I know Mew is really hard to find(he think's he's a VIP xD) I Found him @FLOOR 76 and it's just easy to make him join just give your Pokemon that
FRIEND BOW(I stole it from the Kecleons xD) I used
A Lvl 75 DEWGONG with SHEER COLD and BAZOOOM Mew wants to join hope this helps(oh you need that music box that is made from those parts from regirock,regice,registeel) good luck have a nice adventure
