Starting pokemon

In this game is it possible to start with an abra, and if not what in you're opinion is the best to start with.

There are 16 Pokemon that can be starter (as the protagonist): Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Chikorita, Cyndaquil, Totodile, Treecko, Torchic, Mudkip, Psyduck, Pikachu, Eevee, Cubone, Skitty, Meowth
And 10 Pokemon possible as partner is 3 sets of starter from 3 regions plus Pikachu.
I suggest you go with Charmander, Pikachu, Cubone or Squirtle as they are by far the easiest Pokemon to use. If you want to make it harder, just choose Eevee or Meowth.

No you can't start as abra. Squirtle or mudkip are the best to start. Pikachu is ok too.

Hey nhahtdh you mist one pokemon Mochop He is the 16th you only wrote 15 pokemon names xD oh yea and i would say the best pokemon you would want to start with is either Charmander or Squartal Becuase Charmander is good against Ice which helps against Articuno and Squartal can use Long Range atks making it easier to Kill Bosses taking there health down before they get close enough to hit you
