Question for Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team

I need some help how do I get passed Fiery Field I die at the 3rd floor all the time what am I doning wrong


Pokemon lvl Moves

Feraligator 40 water gun
Dig
Surf
Frustration


Riachu 38 Thunder Wave
Thundershock
Thunderbolt
Brick Break


Can some tell me what I'm doing wrong and (only reason why I die is probably not good enough)

Sorry to say this but you're not strong enough!
It's good you have water Pokemon, but I could only get through at lvl 49 with charmander. Just train to lvl 45+ and you should get through easily!

Yeah copeland is right your not strong enough to face that dungeon when I face that dungeon my blastoise is lvl 40 just like yours my partner swampert is lvl 38 theire both water type so when I enter the dungeon I only explero F2 and I faint I train and train till they both become lvl 50 I also carry friend bow so I can recruit other strong Pokemon in that dungeon
