What is UP-GRADE used for in Pokemon fire red?Also how do you use it?

It is used to Evolve porygon into porygon2.All you have to do is Trade porygon while hes holding it.

I beat trainer tower and got an UP-GRADE for completing it I don't know what to use it for. 😐

Give the Up-Grade to Porygon(buy one at the Game Corner for 9,999 coins) then Trade it to a friend. Porygon will Evolve into Porygon2. They look basically the same, Porygon2 is more round, though. Lugia_Dude

Uuuuummmmmmm what you do is Trade it, and then your porygon will Evolve while trading

The up grade is for evolving porygon into porygon 2 with a Trade. If you trade a porygon holding an up grade it will Evolve into porygon 2.
