You don't find the dog at all you have to do is go to the oran area mines find the air filter and search around I don't remember where it is. Im already on the part where you fight nebulagray

Your go to the airfilter comp in oran mines jack in and press A when your at the top right corner and you will get a data disk

Only you go to lan's hous in 1ST floor stand next to the window and press A then go to oran mines and find the airfilter and jack in to it go to the topest right panel then press A.
