Ok I got to the part where theres that big koopa and I'm hunting the star piece for that area but it ways gigi and meri (i don't know their names I guess) are asleep so I can't get the massage does anyone have a way to fix this

Are they asleep? Oh by the way have you been to the southern island where there are 2 ruins yet? Because you need to be there before you can countinue the main story.
