You find the Kimbombo after you cross the Gondowan Cliffs and the Kimbombo Mountains.

You'll find the Kimbombo by crossing the Gondowan Cliffs and crossing the Kimbombo mountains. The Gondowan Cliffs are somewhat near Alhafra.
