Listen guys.How do you beat level 27 where Linus is the boss?

I think that's the best chapter, it's so fun. But anyways, to defeat it try to have almost all of your characters promoted. And have them at level 5-10 or higher. Then have lyn, or hector promoted(Lyn has good spd, and skill, and hector has good str, and def).

Then split your units into groups. Put your axe wielders in the middle section where all the knights, and generals are coming out. Put your flyers onto the mountains, so they could rescue a damaged unit or atk the enemy. But be aware that there are snipers and ballista's. So I would bring either, rebbeca, or wil(recommened).

On the west side,bring units with great speed, and bring some magic wielders(there will be some myrmidons, and heroes). Then on the north east side bring the weapons such as halberds, lancereaver, and horseslayers. Then for the boss I would recommend a unit with axereaver, and silver lance and killerlance. Then after a few turns vaida would come in the area where you started from. Have eliwood talk to her to get her.

P.S. I would bring nino, cause she turns out to be a very good sage. In my opinion, better then erk and pent. But be very careful. If you do not want to take this risk train her in an arena.

For this chapter you'll need your three lords, pent a sniper, an assassin, a swordmaster and the other units you like. Send up pent jaffar and ninian. Be sure to have boughten a couple silver swords from the shop. Get jaffar to deal some hevy damage.

I always have him level 20 by now. Once jaffar runs low on health, move him away and send pent to do an indirect attack. Pent will get the combat bonus because anima beats light magic. Once you have done a fair amount of damage, get one of your lords or a weaker unit to finish linus off.
