What happens when one of your clan members gets knocked out in the jadgs????? You still win the battle but what happens to that character

they are permanently out of your party unless it is he or she is a main person
As the answer above says, that character will "die" and is removed from your party. BUT , during an engage battle in the jags, be sure to use a pheonix down or "life" skill from usually a white mage to bring them back but you must do this during an engage.
