Well, there are three different ways to get Zeus Mace ( all of which are hard.) These three methods are: Treasure Hunt (if you've completed the story line you probably can't do this), the # 14 Golden Clock mission (also of course you can't do if you've finished the story line), or the first of the Corrupt Judge missions, Cleanup Time. Most likely you will want to do the third option. As you probably know you get the Corrupt Judge missions by completing the 300 missions then going to Bervania. I can't exactly go into detail about that.

The way you do this is that first of all, you need to have your thief know Steal: Weapon (duh). You probably want to have that thief have on Thief armlets so you have an easier time stealing. In the mission, there will be a Sage that has a Life Crosier as a weapon. What you want to do is steal that and then when the Sage's turn comes around, he will re-equip his weapon. There is a chance that he will equip the Zeus Mace. Sadly, there is also a good chance he will just re-equip the Life Crosier >_

There is another way that I have heard about. In fact, it's the only way I knew about until now. There should be a mission a little early on that is triggered the moment you enter a new city (city name escapes me). The mission will start with a cutscene that ends with Marche trying to turn himself in. Supposedly, one of the characters in that mission or the unavoidable mission that should be right after has a hidden zeus mace. To get it, you need to reach clan level 30, then use the cinqueda to teach a thief "Steal: Ability". Then you need to use that to steal the "Steal: Weapon" ability from another thief. I would suggest trying it on one of the Redwings missions, the one that pits you against two mog knights, because one knows the "Steal: Weapon" ability but doesn't know maintenace, which most if not all thieves will know by the time you are actually able to steal abilities. Trust me, I am trying this for my second time now because I fell victim to that problem and was left without a solution. WARNING: This process can take a very long time, and thus requires the necessary patience and the ability to enjoy repeating the same battles countless times in order to complete this task.
