First you have to go the sailor guy in Vermilion City and he'll take you to three

Island, then go over to berry forest and walk around (bring repellants) then eventually you'll find little spots slightly darker than the surrounding grass(not the grass where you find pokemon. The background grass) go in front of it and face it. Then press A and then you'll get an oran,pinap,pecha, or another berry and you can do this every one in awhile.
