Follow these steps and you will have no problems

After defeating the elite 4 go to the battle frontier travel to the Battle Tower (directly up) then deposit upto 6 pokémon with or without items to clone get out of the PC with the cloning ones still in the PC,save your game, now withdraw you pokémon and go to the closest reception desk to the PC, and talk to the lady she will ask to go into Open or Lv50 battles, pick any pick the two pokémon and save.... But when it says "Saving..... Don't turn off the power" turn off your Gameboy (or DS) and turn back on and you cloned you pokémon without losing your save of corrupting your data

And THAT / is how you actually clone

WARNING: If you clone 6 at once you must lose atleast 1 pokémon Forever so pick a weak unused Pokémon as a sacrifice for the greater pokémon

Also too much use will give saves faults, make pokémon flee on their own and may cause glitches internal battery to fail meaning no more time based events

BUT WORST OF ALL sometime when turning on your game you may have PC's spawned around you in Pokémon Centers due to overloading on hacks
