If my game does not save it's progress, how do I fix it?

If you have tried to save multiple times and it hasn't saved your data, I would think your game cannot be fixed. It just sounds like your game has a problem that cannot be fixed. I would recommend you get another game card. One that is in good condition.

Actually, this is very easy to fix for any skilled circuitry electrician. The reason the game no-longer saves is because the battery has run dry. The battery inside of the game cartridge that is. These batteries can be replaced, but it requires patience. The battery is connected to two prongs inside the case. To get it off usually requires breaking these prongs, or de-soldering them. After removing the old battery, re-solder the prongs and set a new battery in the space. This battery will be loose, and I keep mine held in using a piece of tape that holds the prongs against it as well. Do not attempt to solder the battery to the prongs, the battery will pop and become unusable.
