Where do I get metal coat?

What do you all think is some good pokemon that are'nt rare !!

Except ho-oh to beat the elite four and Lance?

You get Metal Coat after the Elite Four in the ship. Lapras is good against the Elite Four and you can get it from a Lapras in Union Cave on Fridays.

P.S. I once captured a Magnemite and it was holding a Metal Coat.

You get metal coat on the boat after you beat the Elite 4 and find the guys granddaughter.

If you get a flying Pokemon you can beat Bruno with it easily.

Little known is actually just next to the city above golden rod, there is a cattle ranch with miltanks. There are magnemites that can be caught in the grass before the farm coming from goldenrod city, they have a chance at having a metal coat. That's how I went about getting a steelix as well as scissor early game

In case anyone is wondering... Magnemite has a 2% chance to have a Metal Coat. Magnemite has a 20% chance to spawn on route 38/39. That means that for any one pokemon you find in those routes, it has a .4% (1/250) chance to be a magnemite holding a metal coat.
