Alright, you need help finding the entrance to the Goldren Underground area? Well then, I can help you out there. The entrance is actually easy to find, but can be difficult to find if this is your first time looking for the underground entrance. When you are in Goldenrod City, look for the Pokemon Market. To the left of the Pokemon Market will be the Pokemon Center. If you look at the building that is above the Pokemon Center, you will see that it is the Goldenrod City game corner. In between the Pokemon center and the Game Corner is a small path, go on it and walk all the way to the left. Now, turn south and head down and you should see an old man. If you go past him and continue down you will see a small house with a sign in front of it. If you read the sign, it will say Underground entrance, so that house is the entrance to the underground area.

If you go to the gym, then go the the house left of the gym, then the house next to that house, go in and down the stairs. Take a right. There should be a door. Press a on the door. If you have the basment, key, it should open. Your rival should attack you.
