Yes. I got annoyed with the boss fights on normal. At this point I was quite far in and the boss in question was typhoon at the under water base. I was unsure whether to risk it as when you select the option it says you’ll go back to title screen. I risked it and reloaded my game. Luckily it put me back at my last check point. Hope this helps
