In order to get the Skeleton Key in F.I.S.T.: Forged In Shadow Torch, you first need to progress a fair way into the Power Station, have already defeated the Robotic Core, and acquired the Drill weapon for Rayton.
Once you meet these conditions, you need to head back to the terminal from where you got the Drill. From the terminal, go right and defeat the enemies you encounter. Then open the Red Drill Door that is in front of you with the Drill. Using the Drill's glide ability which is accessed by pressing and holding 'Circle' on your controller, you now need to head upwards so that you glide through the tunnel, avoiding the electricity on the floor. When you land at the other end of the tunnel, you will then hear a voice crying out for help. If you look to the bottom right of the screen, you will see a vent, which you will be able to smash by equipping the Fist and pressing 'Triangle' on your controller. Once the vent has been destroyed, you will be able to head down. If you then smash the wooden barrel that is to the far left, you will find the NPC called Flip inside who will give you the Skeleton Key which will enable you to open any chest that is locked.

Underneath the area name at the top there will be a percentage displayed which is based on how well you explore. Once that number reaches 100% you have discovered everything there is to find in that area.
In the same room where you encounter Mappo there will be a terminal you can use to unlock new skills or weapon moves in exchange for Furso, the currency used in F.I.S.T.: Forged In Shadow Torch.
To interact with the terminal, you need to press 'Square' on your controller and select 'Unlock Skills'. This will bring up a skill tree of branches paths with skills you can select and learn. You can navigate the skill tree by using the analog stick of your controller, to select the individual skills you simply have to press the X button once you have chosen one. This will bring up a new window that will have a description of the skill along with a video of the skill being performed. The cost of the skill will be displayed at the top right of the screen. If you want to purchase the skill and have the required amount of Furso press the X button again. If you don't want to buy the skill, press 'Circle'. SP skills are special mechanical powers taught to you by Maser Wu that deal heavy damage, they can be great for crowd control or when you are being swarmed by enemies. These powers can be mixed in with combos to add more variety to your fighting style. SP Skills consume an SP bar, which means it differs from anything else you learn. In order to replenish your SP bar you need to attack enemies, every hit you land will refill a portion of an empty bar. An SP move can only be used when the SP bar is full, if the bar is not full it will begin to deplete again which means you have to be very aggressive in fights, you will never fill your bars by going on the defensive for too long. Another way to replenish your SP bar is by using Shock Batons which you acquire during the game. Whenever you successfully parry using a Shock Baton, you will consume one EP bar but gain one SP bar. You can also find SP Vials in pods throughout the game, which will instantly fully refill your SP bar.
F.I.S.T Forged in Shadow Torch features a fast travel system which will enable you to quickly go back and forth between areas when new equipment and abilities are found or unlocked. It is not until you clear the third main area of the game which is when you escape from prison that fast travel becomes unlocked. This will be in the form of the teleporting device that you will previously have noticed inside the Power Station. You will now be able to use the teleporting device by interacting with it, take advantage of it to cut down your traveling time considerably.
